About me
As a visual journalist, I am fascinated in the interaction between readers and content and how that transaction can be improved or streamlined. With new technologies giving us new distribution channels each day, I always try to find the right tool for the right job and the right venue for the right story. My background is in photography, photo editing, page design and digital content management. I also have professional experience as a manager, art director, copy editor, calendar editor, freelance coordinator and even reporter.
About this site
This is not a portfolio site. Most portfolio sites are stuffy, rigid and seldom updated. I try to update this site as much as possible to showcase a broadrange of my work. The images and pages displayed here are all works of my own, new and old, in no particular order. I have a wide set of influences and I try to reflect them in my work. For the site I stripped down the layout and design to keep distractions to a minimum. I believe less is more – a design philosophy the media industry as a whole would do well to embrace.
